We’ve got a long-standing love for cocoa, and we know what we’re talking about. Our team brings together over 70 years (seven decades!) of experience across the cocoa industry — from farming and trading to product development.
Wow Cacao was founded by Pam Thornton, a veteran cocoa trader who has spent over 40 years roaming cocoa farms across the globe. She has evaluated crops, established warehouses, and supplied the world’s chocolate makers with their favorite beans.
Sharing More of the Wonder Fruit
Our passion goes beyond chocolate. We are committed to sustainability and minimising waste, which is why we set out to upcycle the contents of the cacao pod and share more of this incredible fruit with the world.
Protecting the Forest, Supporting Farmers
We believe cocoa can and should grow without harming the planet. That is why our cacao pods come from trees in the coastal regions of Guayas and Santa Elena, close to Guayaquil. Thanks to an innovative irrigation network installed in the 1990s in Cerecita, farming became possible on the semi-arid lands of the Santa Elena Peninsula. This supports local farmers while protecting rainforests from deforestation.

What Is Wow Cacao?
We are proud to bring this amazing fruit to the UK in a whole new form. We take frozen cacao juice, dilute it, and create WOWCACAO, a hydrating drink with a unique, tangy flavour that is perfect for the whole family.
