We’ve got a long-standing love for cocoa – and we also know what we’re talking about. Our team has over 70 years (seven decades) of experience in the cocoa industry – from farmers, to trading to product development, you name it. The founder is Pam Thornton, a veteran cocoa trader, who has roamed cocoa farms worldwide for over 40 years, evaluating crops to predict prices, establishing warehouses and export facilities to supply the world's chocolate makers with their favourite beans. We’re deeply passionate about sustainability which is why we wanted to share more of this wonder fruit – upcycling the contents of the cacao pod so that less goes to waste.

We’re also passionate about limiting deforestation, which is why our cacao pods come from trees in the coastal region of Guayas and Santa Elena – close to Guayaquil. Cocoa farming was made possible in the 1990s when farmers took advantage of an irrigation network installed in Cerecita to supply water to the semi-arid land in the Santa Elena Peninsula.

We are bringing the frozen juice to the UK and then diluting it to produce WOWCACAO, a hydrating drink with a unique tangy flavour suitable for the whole family. The product has a clean label with only potassium added to boost the electrolyte total and ascorbic acid included to stabilize the naturally high Vitamin C content.
